Christchurch Moreton The church was built in 1863 and designed by Messrs. Cuningham & Audsley at a cost of 8000 pounds which included the school. It was paid for by William Innman of Upton Manor whom is laid to rest in the grounds of the church. His head stone can still be found. The tower is said to be just over 100 feet high making it one of the most impressive in Wirral. |
