| building in the middle of the picture is still there today as can clearly be seen. This was once used as the repair building for the Postons Brothers garage. The stone wall on the left has now gone and the old Plough inn had been replaced with the new one. The farm to the right hand side of the road was called Brookland House, but was demolished like so many others, for expansion. Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church now stands there.. |
