TAM O SHANTERS COTTAGE (ORIGINAL)
Bidstons Tam o Shanters cottage was one of many standing on the hill at the time it was built. Over
the years the cottage were run down and the tenants moved closer into the towns and villagers. This
picture shows Tam O Shanters cottage, the last remaining in the area; before it became run down,
vandalised and burnt. The thatched roof can clearly be seen from this early photograph.
