Maple Cottage

This idyllic white cottage set back from the
promenade is one of the oldest remaining in
Parkgate.  It dates back to the early 1700's and
was first used as a fisherman's cottage.  The
building retains many of its original features but
looks to have had the main roof replaced in
more recent years.  The wooden sash window
remain in keeping with its decor as does the
black and white colour scheme on the
Maple Cottage
