| No 25 & 27 Magazines. The building on the left is house number 25. It is a tall strange looking building built around the turn of the 20 century. Next door at number 27 the appearance is quite deceiving. The house was originally one story having been added to in the 1900's. The house is believed to date back to the early 18th century and was at one time used by the commanding officers at the Fort. It is also noted that tunnel ran from a passage under the house, into the fort. |
