| The crossing over the River Birket. The photographs are from 2007 & 1908 . Kirkland House can be seen in both pictures on the left hand side. It was named Kirkland House by Frank "Titch" Mason after he won the Grand National in 1905 on his horse Kirkland. The house was built in 1900 and was home to Graham White the famous aviator before Titch Mason purchased it. |
