South Cottage

The photograph shows South Cottage which
dates back to 1708.  It is another one of
Parkgate's historic buildings having previously
traded as an inn, under the name of the
White Lion.

Further alterations in the 19th century saw the
building reshaped slightly as it had previously
sat overlapping the Promenade causing some
obstruction to passers by.  Today the quaint
little building is used for commercial purposes.
